Karl Barth-Platz
This square appropriately honors Karl Barth because he was born nearby in the Grellingerstrasse and lived for eleven years in St. Alban Ring after he had been expelled from Nazi Germany.
HOW TO GET THERE
The Way (A)
- Main train station SBB, main exit near track 1
- Take tram No. 8 (Direction «Kleinhünigen») or tram No. 10 (Direction «Rodersdorf») or tram No. 11 (Direction «St. Louis Grenze») to the Aeschenplatz (one stop with all three tram lines)
- Then change to tram No. 14 (Direction «Pratteln») and leave the tram at the «Karl Barth-Platz» stop
The Way (B)
- Main train station SBB, main exit near track 1
- Take tram No. 1 (Direction «Dreirosenbrücke») or No. 2 (Direction «Bad. Bahnhof» or «Eglisee») to tram stop «Bankverein» (two stops with both lines)
- Then Change to tram No. 14 (Direction «Pratteln») and leave the tram at the «Karl Barth-Platz» stop
